Biography
I was born in Sylhet, Bangladesh and educated at primary & secondary schools in The Netherlands, UK and Canada. By the age of 14, I had already lived in four different countries on three continents - a priceless opportunity and experience that has taught me many things about life and shaped me into what I am today.
Upon the completion of my high school education, I chose to read Business Management with Information Technology at the University of Reading, UK rather than engineering for which I was also accepted. My "sandwich degree course" also included a successful 12-month industrial placement working in Sales at Lenovo, the company that acquired the former PC Division of IBM.
Whilst at university, I also served as a Student Ambassador and Annual Fund Caller for the University of Reading. Other notable extra-curricular involvement includes positions as Treasurer of the Entrepreneur Society and as Course Representative on the Management Department Student Staff Liaison Committee, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences Teaching and Learning Committee, and the Student Union.
